1/96 HMS Exeter Build

Postby PaulH on Mon May 28, 2012 9:17 pm

Gents, Finally finished teh electrics and before powering up I thpught I'd pop a picture on here so the more experianced ones can have a look and tell me if I had made any glaring mistakes. Please be frank and tell me if I have made a complete hash of it, and if by a miracle I have done it correct and made a decent job of it then again please tell me.

Edit, I would post a picture but i cant upload any as it seems 51KB is too big and wil only allow 900 bytes which is far too small, any ideas how to get over this?

I use Flickr but there are others.

Bry has a bit here about how to do it:-

Very nice job m8, got one point but not to worry, If you had link from motor's to your shafts a bit straighter, just helps the straight they are the
better for performance and speed as motor's will have to work harder when not as straight.

I would defo straighten those motor linkages mate.

Gonna be a noisy beast with them running at full chat on the water.

I cant, the problem I had is the props came through the hull at such a shallow angle and I couldnt get the motors low enough to positioned on the bottom of the hull. Any idea on how I can improve things. To be fair the the couplings look more offset in the picture than in reality.
